Don’t Give Up…It’s not Over!!

Sometimes God has to break us down to bless us up

Nobody has a perfect life. Everybody has their own problems. Some people just know how to deal with it in a better way. We all get to the point in our lives where we just want to give up and call a quits. Whether it be with a job, friend, relationships, our faith, trying to change for the better. It is easier to give up and throw in the towel then to stay put in a place where all hell is breaking loose and is bringing frustration,impatience, fear, doubt, and confusion. Everyone goes through hard times and they may  not be sure on how they are going to get through but God never fails us and he always makes a way out of no way.

God Did Not Bring Us This Far To Leave Us:

We all have a purpose here on earth and it is our duty to fulfill that purpose. . We must go through some fire so that we can see for ourselves that we can and will get through and make it out in one piece. I have never met anyone who is successful, powerful and stronger than ever not go through something that should have torn them apart and probably should have even killed them. Everyone wants to take the easy road through life and get to where they want to get to without going through some testing times. God has to test us from time to time see our growth/ maturity and  what we are going to do when things don’t  go as expected. Are we going to lean on God and his word for our lives? Or take things into our own hands and “take care of the issue”?

The way that we respond to our circumstances and situations determines the outcome. Don’t get discouraged when you have to face intense situations that you may feel you shouldn’t have had to go through. There is a reason and purpose for us suffering the way that we suffer at times. If you read in the bible Jesus suffered far worse than we have and it all served a purpose that was beneficial to us. If he had not gone through what he went through we wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience the Love of God, Grace, Mercy and all the wonderful things that we get to experience and inherit as children of God.

Jesus suffered tremendously for us:

  • He was betrayed ( Matthew 26:14-16 )
  • He was abandoned by his followers (Mark 14:50)
  • He carried the sins of the world (Luke 22:44)
  • He was falsely accused and rejected ( Luke 23:2-3)
  • He was mocked and abused( Matthew 27:27-31)
  • He was crucified ( Matthew 27: 32-56)
  • His body was pierced with a spear (John 19:34)
  • He tasted death for all.( 1 Peter 3 :18)

 So if Jesus can suffer and go through the persecution and torment (that we will most likely never go through) and come our victorious and with power we can come out as well. Jesus didn’t want to be crucified he even asked his father ( God) in Luke 22:42; saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath]from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.” Jesus did not want to die the way in which he did but he understood that it was not his will but God’s will that he had to go through what he went through. Jesus trusted and knew that God would never let him go through anything that was not going to serve purpose and power. That is where we need to be. Have the mind set that Jesus had that no matter what you go through give it to our Heavenly Father and say “not my will but your will be done. “I trust and know that this is for my own good”.  At the end of the day we  go from Glory to Glory.

Why Do we Go Through Trials??


James 1:12 (AMP);12 Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

You need to persevere through the hard times so that when you become obedient and  have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Because of our own mistakes ( We should NEVER test God):

Hosea 4:6 (AMP): My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge [of My law, where I reveal My will].Because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge,I will also reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God,I will also forget your children.

Proverbs 19:2-3 (AMP):Also it is not good for a person to be without knowledge,And he who hurries with his feet [acting impulsively and proceeding without caution or analyzing the consequences] sins (misses the mark). The foolishness of man undermines his way [ruining whatever he undertakes];Then his heart is resentful and rages against the Lord [for, being a fool, he blames the Lord instead of himself].

We give the devil too much credit for the negative things that happen to us. Sometimes God will throw a curve ball and see how we are going to react. EVERYTHING IS NO THE DEVIL SOMETIMES IT IS US WALKING IN DISOBEDIENCE, AND WE SET OURSELVES UP FOR THE REPERCUSSION !! We are so quick to want to say that something is of the devil but I think we tend to forget sometimes that we have consequences for our actions. Yes, we changed our lives and chose to live for Christ and not go back to our old way. However there are consequences.

It’s like if you smoked cigarettes for 8 years and then you quit smoking but later on in life you develop cancer, breathing issues and become very ill. You put you yourself in that situation to risk your health and life. We get signs and warnings before we do anything that could hurt us either emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. We’re just hard headed and do not want to listen to the warnings because we let the flesh take hold of us. As my mom would say ” A Hard Head makes a soft behind” and unfortunately some of us have to learn the hard way to full come to grasp with whats right and wrong.

Makes us Humble:

1 Peter 5:6-8 (AMP):  Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time,  casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.

When we become full of pride we can get beside ourselves and think that we are better than others. We even start to look down on others and have our noses in the air. The word of God says that “Pride comes before a fall ( Proverbs 16:18)” and since God wants to see us prosper and get all that he has promised us, he will have to make sure that we remember who He is and who is the one who gets all the glory. He can and will  give and take from us whatever it is that has made your head swell up if we’re not careful. So calm down and have a slice of humble pie.

Protect us from what is ahead of us:

Psalms 121:5-8 (AMP); The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your life. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do] From this time forth and forever.

We can only see down the street but God can see what is around the corner. Even though God gives us warnings and signs we still choose to ignore them and continue in our ignorance. The mercy of God is so real that he will let things happen so that what the enemy had put in our path to hurt, kill and destroy us will be prevented and  wont come to pass.  We may see it at that point and time as the worst time of our life and question God why did you allow that to happen. Later on when we look back and see what could have been the outcome we will thank God that what the devil meant for our bad God turned it around for our Good.

Develops Our Character:

Romans 5:3-6 (AMP);And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance;  and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].  Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation], at the right time Christ died [as a substitute] for the ungodly.

They say that Diamonds are made under pressure. Going through hard times shapes a person . In the beginning we feel overwhelmed and frustrated and want to say “Forget It I’m done” but when you know who you are and most important Who’s you are, you don’t give up that easily. You will stand flat footed on the word of God, not shaken or moved and determined to get through.

Teaches us to Lean on God:

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (KJV);  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Going through rough times shows us that we need to lean on God for everything. Some of us think that we have the power to control what we go through and we can take care of our own problems. In reality a good majority of the things that we go through we need to pray and seek God on like finances, dealing with our spouse, dealing with co-workers, our enemies ect.  Without depending on God and leaning on him for guidance we can do more damage than good because God knows all and he can direct us.

Build Our faith:

James 1:2-6 (KJV); My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

When we go through a storm and see that we can press through all the obstacles that are before us our faith is built. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. There is nothing like overcoming something that you thought you were incapable of and saw no resolution. The devil will take the opportune time of when you’re vulnerable and alone to get into your spirit and mind and speak all kinds of things to discourage you and make you want to give up.

When you feel like you’re alone and God is not there the enemy will make sure that you’re convinced that God has left you to suffer and you wont be victorious. That’s when you stand on God’s word and say what God has already spoken over your life and  that he would never leave you nor forsake you. Its important to feed your spirit with the word of God  on a daily basis that way when the enemy tries to make you confused and discourage you can tell the devil ” Whatever you have to say you can write it on the bottom of my shoe. I know who and who’s I am and what The Lord has spoken for my life and I trust and believe that everything will work out for my good.” Once you come out of the storm no one can tell you, you can’t get through anything because you know he is the God of the impossible,nothing is too difficult and  he can do all things.


2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV);Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

After overcoming obstacles we should have a testimony. With telling our testimony  it should empower and help others know that they can get through whatever comes their way. Testimony’s are very powerful as well as believers because when we recite our testimony we are letting the devil know that yeah I remember what I went through but I also know that God delivered me and brought me out. You can get through every and anything if you trust,lean and rely on God. Revelation 12:11 (KJV); And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We Are Over Comers!!

So you may be going through some things right now and you do not understand why. Just remember there is a purpose for all of this. The storm does not last forever.You may not see it now but trust me when you get to where you’re suppose to be you will see that it was worth it. Without going through the hard times and relying on God to help us we wouldn’t know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.


Who’s Keeping You In-Check????

Many churches encourage accountability. An accountability partner is a Christian who pairs up with another to avoid sinful behaviors. They keep each other “in check”, and honestly report to each other, considering themselves responsible to the other. Accountability partners can be beneficial when they fulfill the command of James 5:16, “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective”.


Growing up, I was always held accountable for what I did and who I was with. In middle school I gained more independence and had more freedom, which came with responsibilities. I had to let my parents know where I was and who I was with when I was out and about around town. I kept them updated if I left one location to go to another. At first it was annoying and I didn’t understand why it was so important to let them know where I was at all times. As I matured I understood why it was important and it became a habit. Even today, as old as I am, I still let my parents know where I am and  who I’m with.  I could be going to the store, the mall, or even work. When I  got to my destination I would send  a text to my parents to let them know that I got there safe and sound.


In today’s time no one wants to be held accountable, let alone be told what to do, because they feel people are judgmental and just want to be in their business. They would prefer to be secretive and private about their whereabouts, who they are with and what they are doing. That kind of mindset can hurt you in the long run. Most people have trust issues, have been hurt, rejected and betrayed. They feel like they can’t turn to anyone about anything. They may think that people may have an hidden agenda, and tell the world what you told them in confidence. I am here to tell you that there are people who truly and genuinely care and are not out to hurt you by any means.


We need to get to a place where we want to be held accountable for the life that we live. There are many way’s that we can be held accountable. You do not have to be accountable fr just one specific thing. When it comes to choosing someone to be accountable to it is important that we pray and seek God as to who would be the best fit for us. God will direct us to the Man or Woman whom he wants to be that figure in our life. If you have been hurt and you don’t know who to trust or confide in talk to God and he will show you who you need to check-in with.


Different Way’s of being held Accountable

  • Dating
  • Hanging out with Friends
  • Dealing with people and situations
  • Daily decision
  • Making sure that you stay in line with Gods word
  • Making Financial Decisions…..ect

Importance of  having Accountability: 

There is much temptation  in the world today, and satan is always stirring up and  creating even more temptations. Many Christians seek out an “accountability partner” to pray with and help share the burdens that come with doing spiritual warfare. It is good to have a brother or sister we can count on when we are facing temptations. Our brothers and sisters in Christ are supposed to be our support system and help up stay on course and on the right path.

The devil  knows our weaknesses he knows when we are going through something and may even be  emotional or vulnerable at that point and time. When we are fighting with a loved one and not getting a long with co-workers, satan will take that as an opportunity to take you off course and come out of character so we become distant with God.

Accountability can be helpful in the battle to overcome sin. An accountability partner can be there to encourage you, rebuke you, teach you, rejoice with you, and weep with you. Every Christian should consider having an accountability partner with who he/she can pray, talk, confide, and confess to.

How are we held Accountable By God:

  • When being accountable we warn unbelieversEzekiel 33:8 (AMP) says;When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die because of his sin; but I will require his blood from your hand.
  • When being held accountable we watch what we speak out of our mouthsMatthew 12:36-37 (AMP) says;36 But I tell you, on the day of judgment people will have to give an accounting for every careless or useless word they speak. 37 For by your words [reflecting your spiritual condition] you will be justified and acquitted of the guilt of sin; and by your words [rejecting Me] you will be condemned and sentenced.”
  • When being held accountable, we become aware of how we live our lives.Romans 14:12 (AMP) says ;12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
  • Leaders are accountable for those that serve under themHebrews 13:17 (AMP) says;17 Obey your [spiritual] leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you.
  • Teachers are accountable for their studentsJames 3:1 (AMP) says; Not many [of you] should become teachers [serving in an official teaching capacity], my brothers and sisters, for you know that we [who are teachers] will [a]be judged by a higher standard [because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly].
  •  Unbelievers are accountable for rejecting the truth . 1 Peter 4:5 (AMP) says; But they will [have to] give an account to Him who is ready to judge and pass sentence on the living and the dead.

When it comes to finding someone to keep you accountable you much first:

Figure out your needs: What exactly do you want to be held accountable for, Relationships, Work, Walk with God, falling into temptation etc…

Select a Mature Christian of the SAME sex that you can speak the truth with and ask tough questions to : When you do find someone that can hold you accountable you must first make sure that they are not a ‘YES’ person. You need someone who will keep it one hundred percent honest with you, and is not afraid of you or what you may say. Even if they say something that you may not agree with. They should not be easily manipulated or easily controlled. This is important if you are someone who is strong-willed or has a powerful personality. Last but not least  make sure that this individual is not struggling in the same area that you are seeking accountability in and you should not be familiar with this person.                    ( Familiarity: close acquaintance with or knowledge of something)

Approach this person and ask them if they would like to keep you Accountable: Before you approach someone to ask them if they would hold you accountable make sure that you’ve sought God and prayed for him to guide you to the right person.

What kind of people to be held Accountable to:

Equally Yoked: First off you should make sure that the person is equally yoked with you. They should not  be unequally yoked by any means. Both of  you should have a foundation in God and the word of God.. NO EXCEPTIONS! (2 Corinthians 6:14)

They should  know the word of God:  This should just be an automatic given! ( Joshua 1:8 )

Mature in faith and able to “rightly divide” the word of God: In other words, if you are going through something, they should be able to give you guidance using the right passage from the word of God ( no adding or subtracting from the word of God). ( 2 Timothy 2:15)

Understands Forgiveness: This individual must be able to forgive like how Christ forgives us on a daily basis. Being the person who holds someone accountable is not easy because the  person being held accountable may slip up a few times, may not take your advice, or you could have a disagreement with this individual. At the end of the day, forgive and pick up where you left off and move forward. The devil wouldn’t like anything more than to see division and people fall but not get up. ( Daniel 9:9)

Someone who is Compassionate who will bear with you: Overcoming obstacles is not going to be an overnight thing. It will take time and patience.( Ephesians 4:32)

Someone who will focus less on the sin and more on Christ: When we are starting fresh or may be new in living for Christ, turning away from your old ways can take time and with that you may slip up, and backslide. That being said I am not saying that we are to look the other way when the person messes up and never call them to the carpet. The person holding the individual accountable should not continuously bring  up the past.  Trust and believe they know what they did was wrong, they just need to get a little rebuke, with some encouragement to follow. When you constantly bring up the past you start to make them think that they can’t overcome or can’t do anything right. That’s where doubt, rejection, giving up, and frustration comes into play (and the enemy will come in and have his way). That  will make it harder for you, and for them to get a breakthrough and for them to know that they are over comers. ( Philippians 4:8, Hebrews 10:10,14)

Trustworthy:  They must be discreet and keep confidential information confident.    (Exodus 18:21, Proverbs 11:13)

End Note:

God see’s ALL and knows ALL. So I encourage everyone Male and Female to be held accountable for your actions. When we can come together as children of God and help each other stay on course God gets ALL the Glory,Honor and Praise. It’s always refreshing knowing that at the end of the day you have someone you can turn to and just talk to and get help and encouragement, and form a sisterhood/brotherhood that is forever!! So Remember ACCOUNTABILITY IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!!!

What’s In You Will Come Out Of You!

Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV); 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (KJV); Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

 Have you ever thought that what we put before our eyes, receive with our ears, and let come out of our mouth, is a reflection of who we are. Every day our spirit is being exposed to the good, the bad, and the ugly that we choose to let in on a daily basis. Our spirit is the seat of our emotions and character of our soul. Whatever you put in your spirit is who you become, and you act on it.

Everything that we take in through our eyes, ears, and mouth are either going to prosper us or poison us. Our hearts are like radios, and if you want to tune into the things of God we must be careful with the kind of reception we pick up. We cannot pick up junk and things of the world, but expect God to hear us or want to work through and in us. When we allow the foolish communications of this world to taint our spirit then we become disconnected from the things of God, and God himself.

Eyes: Matthew 6:22-23 (KJV); 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Our eyes are one of many gate ways that leads to our spirit. We MUST be careful with what we put before our eyes (such as TV Shows, movies, magazines, things we watch on the computer, etc.). When we watch shows or movies that are filled with nothing but cursing, drama, violence, and sex, it is not helping us in any way, shape, or form. Let’s talk about TV Shows or Nudity. At first you may see it as normal because everyone has seen nudity. If you continue to watch perverse things the spirit of lust, perversion, masturbation, and even pornography, can easily be brought upon you. Before you know it all you can think about is sex and you become addicted.

I know we have heard that spirits can be transferred by watching certain programs and movies. A lot of people cannot wrap their minds around how that could be possible, but when you watch TV or movies your spirit is being fed whatever it is that has been put into that programming. For instance, I use to love watching KUWTK ( Keeping Up With The Kardashians). I would watch it religiously. Khloe Kardashian was my favorite one on the show.  I would DVR it, watch re runs, I would know line for line (yes I’m that person). I didn’t notice it but I started to act and speak like Khloe. My mom actually pointed it out and told me that the way I behaved and spoke was not like me!  I would catch attitudes and get snappy with my mom, the way Khloe would with her mom (which if you have ever seen, is not something you would want to do). I had watched so much of that show that I started to act like the people that I was watching and didn’t even realize it.

It took me seeing it for myself, to understand that I needed to stop watching that show and get my life all the way together. When we entertain our flesh with programs that taint our spirit, Satan will use that opportunity to put deception in your mind and make you think that there is nothing wrong with watching a women get undressed, children having no respect or honor for their parents, people killing one another with no remorse. We become so desensitized that we see nothing wrong with it, and don’t even realize that we are becoming chess pawns for Satan to use.

There are many  other ways that spirits transfer. Not just by tv shows and movies, but also by what you see around you; such as trying to dress like other people, or speaking like those around you. We try to fit in so much with whats accepted, that we carry on the spirits of others just to feel like we belong. Things that you wouldn’t normally do if you were by yourself, you do when your in a group setting just to fit in. Some people may still argue that you can’t transfer spirits by watching certain programs and movies, and we can debate that until we are all blue in the face…but IT’S REAL!!  ( Read:  Psalm 101:3, Matthew 8:28-34, James 4:7, Galatians 6:8,  Galatians 5:19-21)

Mouth: Matthew 15:11 (KJV);11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

This scripture verse speaks about when you eat with unwashed hands…you harm no one but yourself. This will be carried out as waste from the body. When we speak evil things out of our mouths (which starts in the heart), we sometimes hurt someone else so badly that the damage is permanent.  We have a choice on how to voice how we feel.  If you are in a situation where it’s very intense and you are feeling all kinds of negative emotions, think before you speak. If you speak what you are feeling at that time and moment  you will most likely:

  1. Say something you will regret and can’t take back
  2. Make the situation worse
  3. It will show the person  how you really feel about them
  4. AND most importantly, it will show your heart and who you truly are.

1 Corinthians 15: 33 (KJV); 33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Lets be mindful of what we say! I feel like the mouth is one of the important gateways that we need to focus on. We voice our opinions all the time and we say how we feel on a daily basis. Our mouth and our spirit are very well connected. If something is not settling in your spirit, and you don’t like something, we will voice it. Some of us need to be mindful of how we communicate. Especially, if it is a heated discussion, you will most likely say something that you will regret but will not be able to take back. They always  say ” Words are free. It’s how you use them that could cost you”. I always compare people’s angry responses to what people say when they’re intoxicated. The truth always comes out.

Ear: Mark 4:24 (KJV); 24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

God wants us to be mindful of what we listen to. God wants to speak to us and direct us. He can’t do that if our ears are clogged with filth. A lot of people think God doesn’t speak to them, but in reality He speaks to us everyday. The question is, what are you doing that you are unable to hear from God? Who or what are you listening to that is blocking your ability to hear from God?

When it comes to our ears, it is important to be selective with what you allow to receive or dismiss. As a Christian, we are not to listen to worldly music. When we are listening and filling our spirit with music that is polluting our spirit,it’s doing nothing but:

  • making us become stagnant in our walk
  • takes us away from being in the presence of God
  • and it is feeding our flesh

We are suppose to be killing our flesh daily. With listening to music that glorifies sex, drugs, partying, drinking, and other lustful and  perverse activities, our minds are being corrupted. With that, the enemy sees that as an opportunity to get you involved with those abominable acts.

I remember when I was in the world. If I was mad and I wanted to go off on someone, I thought listening to music would help me calm down. In reality it made it worse. My whole demeanor would change and it would get me hyped to the point that if I were to see that person who got me mad, I would be ready for war. That is not how our Heavenly Father would want his daughter to act. We must be mindful to what we listen to. Not just music, but how we communicate as well. If you surround yourself with individuals that only speak negatively about people, stay around them long enough and you will start disliking who they dislike, even if they did nothing to you. Just because you continue to surround yourself with this person and entertain their foolishness, you start to carry on their spirit and now you have issues with someone for no reason. Now, it’s all because you HEARD something and let it get in your spirit.

Ending Note: 

Here are some of the consequences that we will face if we continue to indulge in these activities:

  • We can learn to accept ungodly violence as okay.
  • We can accept a secular picture of the world.
  • We can develop impure sexual thoughts or lust
  • We learn lessons that rarely work out in real life.


And we must:

  • Evaluate what you let into your spirit.
  • Be rational ( would God approve of you watching these things?)
  • Do not blindly follow society’s standards
  • Be alert
  • Pray for wisdom and balance
