Many of us are currently going through a season of processing. This season is very challenging and crucial because it causes you to die from a lot of things that have been causing delays in your purpose. It forces you to become subject and answer the call on your life. The process causes us to go through tests so we can go to another level. During this stage you will have different characters who are only there to slow the process. You may encounter, Sister Discouragement, Brother Doubt, Sister Confusion, Brother from the past so on so forth. They are only there to distract you,shake you, and break you, but don't fall for their tricks. They were sent from the enemy to keep you where he wants you. James 1:12 (AMP); Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.The enemy knows that you are not that strong in Christ and he still knows your weaknesses, strongholds, he knows how to keep you bound mentally so you will start walking in doubt and in fear. When I was in the processing stage I knew there were things I needed to die to, but I was afraid because I had become so comfortable in my sin. The process forced me to come naked and bare and step into the unknown. I know first hand how scary it is to have to let go of what has been so familiar and in a way a security blanket. God wants you to be naked ( spiritually) and let him mold and shape you. That's what the process is all about. Isaiah 64:8 Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.I want to encourage you that when you feel like you can't go on any further and you want to give up DON'T, DON'T give up PUSH...PUSH...PUSH deeper into the things of God. There are things in your life God needs and wants to break you from so you can be elevated. It is time we take EVERYTHING back from satan.Even if you mess up and end up doing the same thing that your trying to get free from do not be discouraged. Remember this is a process it takes trial and error, it's not an over night thing you will and shall overcome every obstacle that comes your way in the name of Jesus. You will have those naysayers who will say to you " You say your trying to get right with God but you were just watching porn 3 days ago, or you were just smoking some marijuana with me last night". Don't let that discourage you, you have this. Next time you feel an urge and the enemy is sending suggestions open up the Word of God ( no better weapon than that) and start preaching to yourself LOUDand CLEARso the devil and all of hell can hear you and know that you mean business, your a force to be reckoned with and you shall be free. You can start off by declaring:
"I will be FREE in Jesus Name"
"No Weapon that is Formed Against me Shall be able to prosper"
"I am MORE than a Conquer."
"The Devil is a Liar, I will not give into the lusts of my flesh"
" I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me
" Who the Son set free is free indeed"
______________________________________________________________________________________I'm going to tell on myself real quick. I know for myself I would get frustrated when I would see my brothers and sisters in Christ doing things, saying things, behaving in a way in which I knew that they knew better. I would have an attitude with them on the inside and have a full fledged conversation with myself internally saying " just yesterday they told me that they were done playing with the devil and were going to get serious about Christ, but here they are not even an hour later they are listening to lustful, perverse, ungodly music."As I started to grow and mature I would remind myself that they are still in the transition/processing stage, where they need to be pruned. On top of that I was not perfect either, I was sinning but just differently and not publicizing it on social media, my sins were private....or so I thought, God saw & knew all my dirt.One thing I know for sure is that God is a gentleman he will not force himself on no one, so he may be trying to get your attention and get you to focus on Him, but if you continue to ignore and push him away he will let you be.Many of us want to live for Christ whole heartily but we do not want to give up our old habits. The enemy has brainwashed and glamorized sin to the point where sin looks like fun and living for Christ is boring and miserable, when in reality it is the opposite.I've noticed some challenges that the body of Christ faces when trying to get right with Christ. The church today has accepted the worlds "values" over Gods standards for how the body of Christ is to live. The church ( when I say the church I am talking about the body of Christ, because we are the church) is now polluted with so much filth, from the pulpit to the door. So when it comes to getting right with God there is so much confusion and people compromising as to what is right and what is wrong.
Romans 12:2 (KJV) :And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
This is why it is important to feed our spirit with the word daily so we can be able to test the spirit and know when we are being deceived. We need to let God work on us and polish us up so he can present us as his child.We need to keep in mind that as we are being processed and renewed in Christ that once God has brought you out, transformed you and put on a new garment, you need to make sure that you do not go and put back on your old filthy garments. When the enemy tries to bring you back run and don't look back.God will do His part but it is up to us to keep up with our end as well.
